Davenport Diamond Fields, Early Pinot Noir 2023

Half the grapes were destemmed without crushing, and fermented for 10 days with natural yeasts. After pressing, the juice was transferred straight into old French oak barrels (ranging from 5 to 20 years old), where it completed fermentation and matured for 9 months. Bottled without filtration, a light sediment may be present.

Pale ruby in colour, this wine is vibrant and fresh, with aromas of raspberry, cherry and plum. This is a light-bodied and red berried fruity wine, balanced by gentle tannins and a crisp acidity. With just 11% alcohol, it's an easy-drinking style that shines on a summer’s day, though it will develop further complexity with a year or two of cellaring. Pair with: grilled duck, mushroom dishes, or a summer picnic of charcuterie and cheeses.

Our standard delivery charges start at £10.15 for up to 3 bottles, £7.50 for 4 or 5 bottles and free delivery is available for orders of 6 bottles or more. Orders can also be collected from the Winery in Horsmonden free of charge, and local deliveries (within a 5 mile radius of TN12 8EF) are available for £2.50. Most orders arrive within 2 to 3 working days.
