Made from Pinot Noir grown on our Redmoors vineyard in Horsmonden, this new wine shows a lighter, more aromatic side of the site. The 2023 vintage gave us particularly fragrant, delicate fruit from the 1.5 - hectare plot planted on sandy silt loam soils. Our Davenport Pinot Noir 2023 is perfect for a more lifted, expressive style.

Wine Details
Naturally fermented using a 50/50 mix of whole bunches and destemmed grapes, the wine was aged in large oak foudres for 7 months, then rested in bottle for a further year before release. The whole bunch fermentation brings lifted floral aromatics and fresh red fruit, while the destemmed portion adds just enough structure and depth.
Tasting Notes and Food Pairings
Paler and more delicate than our usual Redmoors wines, Horsmonden Red opens with notes of wild strawberry, rosehip and cranberry. The palate is light and silky, with gentle tannins, fresh acidity, and a graceful, aromatic finish.

We deliver across mainland England, Wales, and the Scottish Lowlands. Delivery charges vary by region and order size and will be automatically calculated at checkout.
Our standard delivery charges start at £10.15 for up to 3 bottles, £7.50 for 4 or 5 bottles and free delivery is available for orders of 6 bottles or more. Orders can also be collected from the Winery in Horsmonden free of charge, and local deliveries (within a 5 mile radius of TN12 8EF) are available for £2.50. Most orders arrive within 2 to 3 working days.
