Wine Details
The 2023 vintage was our biggest harvest to date. A wet September delayed picking, but the return of sunshine allowed the fruit to reach excellent ripeness. Bottled in June 2024, this wine has had time to settle and develop in bottle, with the potential to age gracefully over the next few years.
The blend includes Bacchus, Ortega, Faber, Siegerrebe and Huxelrebe - varieties that come together to produce a beautifully balanced, aromatic dry white. Naturally fermented using the wild yeasts found on the grape skins, the wine captures a real sense of place. Around 10% was matured in large oak foudres (traditional Alsatian casks), which lend a soft, rounded creamy texture without adding oak flavour.
Tasting Notes and Food Pairings
Expect delicate notes of citrus, elderflower, white peach and hedgerow blossom, with a subtle yeasty background and a creamy, smooth palate. Light and expressive drunk now in its youth, it will continue to evolve to show greater depth and complexity in the bottle over the next few years.
While already delightful to enjoy on its own, this wine pairs well with seafood, salads, soft cheeses and light pasta dishes.

We deliver across mainland England, Wales, and the Scottish Lowlands. Delivery charges vary by region and order size and will be automatically calculated at checkout.
Our standard delivery charges start at £10.15 for up to 3 bottles, £7.50 for 4 or 5 bottles and free delivery is available for orders of 6 bottles or more. Orders can also be collected from the Winery in Horsmonden free of charge, and local deliveries (within a 5 mile radius of TN12 8EF) are available for £2.50. Most orders arrive within 2 to 3 working days.
